TutorPupPrivacy Policy

The short version:
- Your puppy's details, training progress, streaks and toilet log stay on your phone.
- We only collect what we need to run your account and subscription.
- No adverts, no tracking across other apps, and we never sell your data.
- You can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
Who we are
TutorPup is made by TutorPup ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at support@tutorpup.com.
What stays on your phone
Your puppy's name, age, goals, strengths and struggles, your answers during sign-up, lesson progress, streaks, treats and badges, your toilet log, reminder settings and your chat history with Tuti are all stored on your device. We don't receive them, except for questions to Tuti described below.

Before your first question, the app asks your permission to send questions to Tuti's AI provider. If you say no, Tuti answers from the lessons on your phone instead.
We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, health data or advertising identifiers.
Who we share it with
- Apple processes all payments. We never see your card details.
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions for us and receives your purchase history, anonymous app user ID and, if provided, your email and puppy's name. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Supabase hosts the server that passes questions for Tuti on, if the online tutor is enabled.
- Anthropic generates Tuti's answers. Questions are not used to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep account and subscription records while your account is active and for up to 12 months after, or longer where the law requires (for example tax records). We don't store questions to Tuti after the answer is sent. Daily question counts are kept for up to 30 days. Data on your phone stays until you delete it or delete the app.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or restrict it. To delete everything on your phone, go to Profile › Delete account and data. For anything else, email support@tutorpup.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Notifications
Streak, toilet-trip and trial reminders are scheduled on your phone. You can turn them off in the app or in iPhone Settings.
Children
TutorPup is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
